Nxu, Inc., formerly known as Atlis Motor Vehicles, is an American technology company that develops of next-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, battery systems, and vehicle technologies. The company was founded in 2016 by Mark Hanchett and is headquartered in Mesa, Arizona.
Nxu's main product include the NxuOne, a charging technology designed to provide consistent power delivery of current and future electric vehicles. Also, the company develops proprietary battery cells and packs utilizing in-house developed NMC-811 chemistry, focus at improving thermal management and reducing electrical resistance.
Their modular EV platform, often referred to as an electric skateboard, provides technology and software solutions for third-party vehicle manufacturers. Nxu is also developing a flagship 100% electric full-sized pickup truck.
