Archer Aviation Inc. is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California. The company was founded in 2018 by Brett Adcock and Adam Goldstein. It designs and develops electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for urban air mobility (UAM) networks.
Archer's main eVTOL aircraft is called Midnight. It can carry four passengers and a pilot. The plane is designed for short trips of about 20 miles with quick charging times. The aircraft features a unique 12-tilt-6 configuration, which includes six tilt-props for flight and six stationary props for vertical takeoff and landing.
